5) Health Care - I would also work to some day provide health care to all Marylanders. We must control the high cost of health care. As a Fire Chief, I have seen many citizens with serious injuries and without health Insurance, refuse to go to the hospital emergency room because they can not afford the bill.

i. Provide preventive care - I have seen too many citizens use the hospital emergency room for injuries or illnesses that could have been prevented or treated in a doctor's office.
